Hi, I’m Amber!


A little over six years ago, yoga teacher training helped me discover my quest for healing and sharing that with others. This time of my life was filled with huge change, LOVE and positivity which “cracked my heart wide open” like nothing ever had before. Since then I’ve delved deep into the SELF, nutrition, plant medicine and embodiment practices like somatic healing.


Along with running my landscape business, I work in the fitness industry as an Internal Strength and mobility specialist. By founding AHOM Holisitic Health, I’m following my TRUTH and realizing my passion to help others find their light; Empowering, Embodying and Radiating their most authentic Self Energy. 


Certifications include: YTT 200hr, partial 300hr continuum, FRC and FRA and most recently the FRSISM through Functional Range Systems. Animal Flow L1, Sacred Facilitation as a women’s group space holder and Certified Herbalist. Reiki Lv 1 and 2 certified. 


Fun facts: I recently won first for my division in a women's bodybuilding competition, and I’m excited to continue with this powerful passion! I love nature and adventuring to new places with family and friends.


For me being "healthy and whole" means a lot of things and it's extremely important to me and one of my major focuses. It's everything from being in a state of non-stress enough to get a full nights sleep, moving my body on a daily basis, and eating healthy nutritious food, to having the time and space to meditate and connect with spirit.




It's such an amazing way to connect with one another this way. When one light ignites it shines the path for others to follow; that is my goal and mission. Helping you find the light within so that you can share your gifts in the world, shine your light with the world, so more lights can turn on and this beautiful circle emerges. This continuous energetic path of radiantly shining light.















Em-bodi-ment





Embodiment is the mindful awareness of your body and your subtle body. Embodiment practices like movement, breathe work, dance, and getting out into nature helps get you out of your mind and into your body; the here and now. Tapping into the breath directly affects the nervous system and is important for getting back to that state of rest and digest; the parasympathetic nervous system, instead of our constant state of stress; the sympathetic nervous system. Embodiment being a practice of non-judgment can help us feel comfortable in our own skin and in our external environment; making that dive into the internal exploration of healing smoother.






Mind


When we begin to shift our focus and add a different stimulus to our being; change occurs. We begin to notice the subtle shifts of thinking and behaving. Our awareness changes as we begin to notice who we spend most of our time with; do they support us, are they positive? What are we doing with our free time; are we happy with work and home environment? Eventually we start to pick up on our emotional states and triggers. Continuing that practice of embodiment, and becoming aware of the emotional spaces we hold trauma and pain within our bodies tissues.


Spirit



Spirit can mean a lot of things to each and every one of us. Connecting to the divine spirit can be a powerful way to stay present with current intentions and break through traumas that may be holding the healing process back. When we feel connected to spirit, it can help us trust the process, build trust in ourselves; a feeling of empowerment, and trust the universal cosmos that things will work out for us. When our heart is in the right place, radiating love, everything will work out in its sacred order.
